The Marlowe Foundation empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be proud and confident to be themselves.

Opportunity to thrive is a human right and that will always be the foundation from which we build.

Our hope is to one day live in a society that sees no boundaries for people living with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) and to witness a change in those perceptions. The Marlowe Foundation’s vision is to help influence that change, even if change comes one person at a time. We will identify and partner with other non-profits that align with that mission so that these organizations are given support through financial grants that can help make their goals attainable.

Our Story image Marlowe Foundation

The Marlowe Foundation was created in 2024 based on the momentum of Team Marlowe.

Team Marlowe was formed after the birth of Marlowe Roge in 2012. Marlowe was born with Down syndrome and was diagnosed minutes after her birth. Her parents, Steve and Laura Roge decided to direct their efforts to Best Buddies, an organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. After almost 11 years and over $1M raised, Team Marlowe has decided to form their own 501(c)(3) charity, The Marlowe Foundation.

OUR STORY

“I’ve learned that life is so much more beautiful when you look through her lens.”
